Tim Hills – 2008: Though it girths about 15′ this is an elongated trunk with no signs of old growth.
Paul Wood – 2016: This is a difficult tree to ascertain what came before. It grows on a low mound and while it is clear that the living remains have none of the characteristics of great age, I considered the possibility that we might be looking at the regrowth of a section of tree remaining after the major part was lost.
