Notes:

February 2000 Tim Hills: Recorded in 1791 (Collinson) as ‘a very old yew tree with a large spreading head, the trunk 19′ in circumference’ and in 1941 (Mee) as ‘an old yew tree, with a trunk over 20′ round’. In 2000 we searched churchyard and nearby Chantry and found no trace of a yew.
