Notes:A slightly elongated bole of solid appearance but with holes showing that hollowing is taking place. Looking into the branches there can be seen a jagged section of the original trunk. An outpouring of similar sized branches from here suggests the tree was pollarded sometime between 100 and 200 years ago. The tree was measured low down to obtain the lowest possible girth. It is in good condition and growing vigorously.
