Notes:2014: The form of this yew was different from anything I have ever seen, the result of management over a considerable time. There was no branch below a height of 7’/8′. It is of solid appearance, and though there are indentations on its bole, none suggested hollow spaces within the tree. From a bole height of approximately 10′ grow two thick upright branches.
