Notes:A most unusual tree, perhaps much older than it at first appears. Looking at it from the field it can be seen that the tree spent its formative years being laid as part of a hedge, before being allowed to develop upwards. There is a lack of thick branches as the yew is constantly cut back to keep its leaves out of the reach of livestock.
