Notes:On crag at 280m on Lingmoor Fell. The yew is only accessible by scrambling on loose, steep crags, especially from below. A multi-stemmed tree emerging from and fused to a crag. Often difficult to distinguish between tree and rock! Extensive dead wood in the crown. Partially entwined with holly. This yew is a substantial size for an upland tree. Girth estimated as up to 6 metres. Grid ref NY3160004000. ATH number 32730, verified by Vanessa Champion 10/08/2009.
