Notes:September 2013 – Tim Hills: Little Hereford’s younger yew is a fine looking tree with a healthy crown. The area beneath its branches was being used as storage. Girth was 13′ 4” (406cm) at 1′.
2016 – Paul Wood: The yew continues to be used as a store, though this time it was just a water tank and a few buckets. It is beginning to hollow at ground level on the north side. I recorded the same girth as in 2013, of 13′ 4” (406cm) at 1′.
July 2025 – Tim Hills: Green arils could already be seen. The tree was full of vigorous growth. Some, but not many, yellow needles. Epicormic growth on many branches high into the tree. Girth was exactly 14′ (427cm) at 1′ – probably the only height at which it can be measured.
