Notes:31st July 1984 – Allen Meredith: ‘A very big yew in this isolated churchyard, four main stems appear to come from one root system, girth about 32′ 8” where measurable. The yew is female and east in the churchyard.”
October 1998 – Tim Hills: A fragmented tree, its main section dividing into three. Two further large stems and a small stump make up the tree. Hollowing in all parts. Girth of 31′ 10” at the ground.
June 2015 – Paul Wood : Tree is obviously being visited on regular occasions due to a well worn path into the bole. At the moment the churchyard grass cuttings are being piled across the path. Girth 33’ 4” (10.16m).
