Source of earliest mention: 1849: A Topographical Dictionary of Wales
Notes:August 1999 – Tim Hills: In a rather depleted state following the removal of a large number of branches. Girth of 15′ 8” (478cm) at 3′.
July 2016 – Paul Wood: The yew grows SW of the church. Twiggy growth, secondary growth and large embedded stones made the tree unmeasurable. It appeared to be in good condition. The photos cannot do the tree justice since it is so hidden from view.
