2000 – Tim Hills: A yew was noted at this site in The Churchyard Yew and Immortality – Cornish (1946). A stump is all that remains – its girth 12′ 5″.
2009 – Tony Vowell: The yew blew down in the early 1990s. One story is that someone from Bangor University had taken a slice off the felled yew and reported that it was 900 years old. Who took the sample and what they actually did with it will require more investigation.
