January 2005 – Tim Hills: Tree 1 on the plan grows east of the church. It is of solid appearance with twiggy growth from 6” upwards obscuring much of the lower part of the tree. Large central branch. Girth of 19′ 11” (607cm) at the ground.
June 2007 – Russell Cleaver: Girth of 20′ 7” (627cm) recorded.
July 2015 – Paul Wood: A male yew measured with difficulty at ground level as 21′ 4” (650cm). Extremely twiggy and multi branched but solid. Of note is the roll of wire that was leant against the tree some time ago and is now unable to move, with the tree slowly swallowing it up.
