Notes:2000: Bole completely hidden from 2′ upwards behind thick twiggy growth, but possible to crawl beneath to measure.
2017: The low growth is now so dense that it was no longer possible to approach the bole. A photo of the tree’s trunk is seen on p.194 of Sarah and John Zaluckyj’s book ‘The Celtic Christian Sites of the central and southern Marches’.
