Notes:

August 1998 – Tim Hills: The smaller and most easterly of the pair. A girth of approximately 20′ at a height of 5′ was recorded.
November 2013 – Tim Hills: From the church side the tree was unapproachable through thick elder growing up to 20′ in height close to the tree. The tree is on a considerable mound and from below can be seen well established internal growth. Girths of 15′ 1” (460cm) at the ground but above the roots, and 15′ 4” (467cm) at 1′ were recorded. A dead section has separated from the tree and another will soon decay and reduce the girth.
2020 – Ancient Tree Inventory: Girth of 460cm (15′ 1”) at 10cm recorded.
