Arthur O.Chater measured four yews here in 1993.
The tree growing north of the west end of the church is recorded here – 14m tall and with a girth of 430cm (14′ 1”). In 2014 it was not possible to remeasure through ivy and twiggy growth.
There is also a line of 3 yews south of the church.
The most easterly is a mass of thick branches from a 4′ high bole and a girth of 414 cm (13′ 7”) at the base in 1993.
The middle yew of the three now appears to be in an adjacent field. It consists of a new trunk next to an old piece of stump. Girth of 278cm (9′ 1”) recorded in 1993.
The most westerly was hidden by ivy and twiggy growth. Girth was recorded as 340cm (11′ 2”) at the base in 1993.
