Llanfairisgaer

One old yew grows in the churchyard on the south side. It is a good exmple of a single stemmed tree, and is quite handsome at the entrance to the church. The top has a large dead section, part of which has collapsed onto graves. The branches directly affecting the grave stones will no doubt be pruned, and advice taken on whether the dead branches can be left in situ or not. The rest of the tree is in good health and need not be touched.
