Notes:Tim Hills: The yew grows SW of the porch. Its bole has been much shaped by branch removal. It now presents as a tree with numerous thick upright stems and was recorded as 13m tall in 1992. At that time Arthur O.Chater recorded a girth of 16′ 2” (493cm) at soil level. Swelling roots make it impossible to reproduce exact measuring height, but trying to obtain the minimum close to the ground I recorded 15′ 11” (485cm) in 2014.
