Notes:

Tree 2 on the plan. The double wall around this yew is beginning to crumble. The tree has a fluted main stem, a second which divides from it at 7’/8′ and a 5′ high piece of stump, which, when it decays, will lower the girth. Ivy has taken a strong grip on this tree. It appears to originate inside the tree, making its way to the outside at the ground before climbing the outside and filling the canopy with its leaves. Girth in 1998 was 17′ 6” (533cm) at 2′.
In 2014 a girth of 16′ 11” (516cm) was recorded at the base of the tree.
