Notes:

July 2002 – Tim Hills: The yew grows west of the church. It consists of a decaying elongated bole with internal growth in the centre and many young branches. Girth 15′ 10” (483cm) at 1′.
September 2016 – Paul Wood: The main change since 2002 is that ivy is well out of control both on the ground and into the canopy of the tree. It was still possible to see that probably half of the tree had rotted away. Although the churchyard is quite sheltered I observed that even a slight breeze was moving the tree’s branches quite vigorously and wondered how the tree will fare when the winter winds blow. I measured at 1′ as in 2002 and recorded a girth of exactly 16′ (488cm). Foliage was a yellowy tinged green but quite thick.
