May 2002 – Tim Hills: Evans (Churchyard Yews of Gwent) recorded that ‘At Llangua, there are eight stumps of common yew that have been felled, the largest to the left of the entrance gate’. We only uncovered one yew stump, a small specimen that once grew out of the wall close to the church gate.
