Notes:The yew grew on the north side of the church. In life it had a girth of 23′ 8” with ‘a secondary trunk growing inside the hollow original’ (Evans 1986). It was destroyed in the early 1990s when a bonfire to reduce the pile of churchyard waste apparently became out of control and set fire to the tree.
