Notes:

Clwyd/Powys Archaeological Trust in 1996 recorded ‘an older yew tree near the south-west corner has been cut down and a yew in the south-east corner is no longer growing’.
November 2005 Tim Hills: To the SW a young yew grows in the centre of a stump girthing about 12′. It appears too central to be regrowth and suggests it was planted there to replace the lost tree. There is no sign of the yew which grew SE of the church, though a patch of raised ground suggests where it once might have grown.
