Notes:A fine old yew with cavities and decay proud atop a quartz stone rockery 1.6m high. Base of the yew above root flare measured as 570cm – it has a single stem. Broken top at 6m with relatively new even canopy 17m diameter. Maximum branch diameter 15cm. The root flare indicates that it is not buried at base, begging the question, why is it on a mound?
