Notes:November 2006 – Tim Hills: Visited in near darkness but was able to establish that this female yew growing at the east end of churchyard had a girth of about 18′ 3” (556cm) at 1′. A large section facing the field appeared to be becoming detached from the main tree.
March 2016 – Peter Norton: The female yew grows midway along the eastern perimeter. It has four main areas of growth. Earth had been banked up against the west side of the tree. With an undulating tape a girth of 17′ 11” (546cm) was recorded.
June 2017 – Tim Hills: I recorded a girth of 18′ 2” (554cm) between the ground and 1′.
