Notes:Tree 4 on plan grows SW of the church and close to the road. It is on a raised patch of ground and several thick stems rise from its hidden bole. It was not possible to measure in 2014.
In 1984 Reg Wheeler recorded a girth of 455cm (14′ 11”) at 90cm – above the mulch round the tree, but noted that measurements of all trees in this churchyard were likely to be exaggerated by ivy, elder and dead twigs.
