Notes:

September 1998 – Tim Hills: SW. Of solid appearance but searching through thick ivy a large hollow space was found. Girth exaggerated by large quantities of ivy. 20′ approx. at 5′.
October 2002 – Russell Cleaver: 19′ 6” (5.94) at 1.1m.
September 2012 – Peter Norton: Four nails have been hammered in at a height of 1′ 6” from the top of the mound’s highest point. Here a girth of 18′ 0”(549cm) was recorded. Many internal stems in the hollow. Healthy looking foliage. Found at Google map 51.220782,-0.943467.
August 2020 – Dave Kenny: Lapsed pollard S of church at SU7388047367. Measures 5.59 @ 0.6m, the height of embedded nails.
