Source of earliest mention: 2006: Pat Denne

Notes:

July 2013 – Tim Hills: The girth of 12′ 7” (383cm) at the ground belies a grand old tree. What is now the main stem might well have been internal growth, and there are signs at the ground that girth has been larger. There are many places in the tree where old dead sapwood is seen, with new growth beginning to surround it. The nearby yew is of very different appearance, but is of interest as a small girthed (7′ 5” at 3′) completely hollow tree. The photos are all of the old yew.
