Notes:

One section of the trunk facing the churchyard path is old sapwood and the tree is hollowing behind this. There were no other signs of hollowness. The bark of this yew is particularly flaky and the trunk very fluted. From a height of 10′ and upwards is an explosion of very thick branches. Lack of pollen sacs on the ground suggested this is a female yew. Girths of 14′ 8” (447cm) at 2′ and 14′ 7½” (446cm) at 3′ were recorded.
