Notes:An avenue of eight tall yews with remarkably similar girths. Measured at 3′, four of the trees were exactly 9′ in girth. The remainder were 8′ 7”, 9′ 3”, 9′ 4” and 9′ 5”. They appear to have been deliberately planted in a male/female sequence, though it was not possible to ascertain the sex of two of the trees.
