July 2002 – Tim Hills: The yew is male and solid looking with a slightly twisted bole and numerous lateral branches. It appeared that part of the old main branch had been cut off at about 15′. A section facing the road was probably dying, but most of the tree carried prolific growth. Girth was 15′ 1” (460cm) at 1′ and 15′ 10” (483cm) at 3′.
1999 – Owen Johnson: ‘443cm at 0.5. On a good bole’.
