Notes:Here is a fine red and grey barked yew growing above a spreading root. One section of its trunk, 7” across and 5′ high is dead, and there is undoubtedly decay behind this. There has been much cutting back on the side of the tree facing the church. This is understandable as it grows only 3 to 4 metres from the building. The cut areas are replaced by a large patch of short green leaves. The trunk is 13’+ in height before upright and angled branching. There are numerous cut branches on the side facing away from the church.
