Notes:This ancient hedge is visible from a public footpath that leads to Bingham’s Malcolm church. In newspaper articles it has been headlined ‘Old big hedge’ and ‘Yewmongous’. It is 400ft long, 30ft tall and 30ft wide, and it said to have been planted in 1550 during the reign of Edward VI.
