Notes:

1998 – Owen Johnson: 9×216 at 0.8m (The Sussex Tree Book).
May 1999 – Tim Hills: The tree consists of a shell around large hollow spaces. By 8’/10′ all the separated pieces have come together. The top of the main branch seems to have been truncated at about 20′. Small internal stem. Girth of 22′ 4” (681cm) at 2′ and 23′ 4” (711cm) at 5′. The tree has been larger girthed in the past.
February 2012 – Peter Norton: Male tree. 2 large basal cavities with evidence of a small internal root. 4 nails are embedded in the bole at about 1′ 6” girth at this height was 22′ 9” (693cm).
