Notes:In a letter to the Conservation Foundation 17th August 1996, Patrick Curry wrote: “I would like to report a large/ancient yew. It has aerial roots. I haven’t seen it myself, but have spoken to an eyewitness, and also the local council. It is in a conservation area, but there is apparently no TPO on it.” The yew can be seen from the main road. A second younger yew nearby aappears to be in poor condition.
