1999 – Measured by by Ben Simon (Belfast City Council) 3.11m at 1.5m., 3.14m at 1.37m., 3.30m at 0.6m.
July 2005 – Tim Hills: This red-barked and twisted bole of this well documented yew (Meetings with Remarkable Trees), rises from the centre of a claustrophobic cloister. At about 14′ the bole breaks to many branches. Elder had taken root in its platform. Lowe recorded a girth at the ground of 10′ in 1897.
