Notes:

Lewis’s 1833 Topographical Dictionary of Wales reported that ‘In the churchyard are to be seen an ancient yew-tree, measuring twentyfive feet, and a sycamore, fifty-four feet, in girth. The yew survives, a complex tree of two distinct sides joined together for 5’/6′ and many pieces of the original tree visible. Girth of 18’ 8” (569cm) recorded with tape horizontal at height of soil mound on one side of tree.
