October 2007 – Tim Hills: A tall yew that appears solid from one side. From the other side a hollow tree is revealed with internal growth now forming part of the outside of the tree. Girth of 13′ 11” (424cm) at 3′ above the higher ground.
March 2012 – Rob McBride: Girth of 433cm at 80cm recorded.
September 2016 – Paul Wood: A remote site consisting of little more than the restored church and a farm. The yew looked fine and had healthy dark green foliage as well as the lighter green of new leaves. A few dead branches adorned the crown and a little ivy was visible on the northeast side of the tree.
