Notes:

In 1984 Reg Wheeler recorded a girth of 720cm (23′ 7”) at the ground.
1999 – Tim Hills: This much photographed yew best known for the steps which lead to the pulpit in its hollow centre. Girth of 24′ 1” (734cm) at 6” – the height of the step. This is a fine tree with a fluted red bole and numerous tall branches rising all around the hollow centre.
