Notes:

October 2010 – Tim Hills: The yew grows NE of the church and is completely hollow. Unfortunately the space is being used as a dumping ground. Girth recorded: 10′ 11″ (333cm) at 2′, 10′ 8” (325cm) at 3′ and 11′ 3″ (343cm) at 1′ 6″.
A photo in the Geograph web link http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1012989 taken in 2008 shows the large limb that has since split from the tree. The scar can be clearly seen.
With a girth of under 4m the tree is presently classified as notable. Because it displays veteran characteristics it will in the future be classified as V-con (veteran on account of its condition).
