Notes:

The yew, girthing 15′ at 5′, grows in good loam on a clayey subsoil. It was at that time shaped like a mushroom, appearing identical to a drawing taken of it in 1744. Its probable planting date was given as 1610. In 1986 Alan Mitchell recorded a girth of 478cm (15′ 8”) and a height of 10cm.
