Notes:

In 1876 this female yew was described as ‘a fine yew tree’.
2004 – Tim Hills: Girth 11′ 11” (363cm) at 1′. At a height of 3′ it swells to 13′ 10” (422cm) of which 8′ 6” is dead wood. Systematic branch removal has trained the tree to grow upright. Several stumps of thick ivy indicate attempts to clear it from the tree.
