Notes:A ground plan reveals nine separate trunks, growing in parallel lines a few feet apart. Girth around all of these was about 30′ – if they have regenerated from a concealed stump this may prove to be the site of a significant tree. In the garden is a well. It is more likely however that they were planted to create a garden feature.
