Notes:

September 1997 – Tim Hills: At the time of my visit this was a featureless tree with much low twiggy growth preventing access to the bole. A girth of about 19′ (579cm) was recorded.
June 2005 – Richard Bottle: A girth of 584cm recorded just above the ground. On a mound and divides into four major limbs just above ground level. These separate again a little further up the tree.
July 2014 – Peter Norton: The large male yew, which grows SW of the church, has one main leader with three others emanating from/close to the base. A lot of lower growth but tape could be threaded behind, again this yew had a natural waistline at about 2′ and the minimum girth of 19′ 2” (584cm) was recorded.
