January 1998 – Tim Hills: A tree of two fragments. An old piece of yew wood is seen supporting the smaller fragment. This has gone by 2010, and several pieces of iron banding no longer serve any purpose.
2010 – Peter Norton: The yew grows outside the south porch at 51.583157,-1.861705 . Girth is 17′ 2” (523cm) at 1′, 16′ 3” (495cm) at 2′ and 15′ 6” (472cm) at 3′. A nail has been hammered into the smaller segment at just over 3′ from the top of the mound and a rusty sap oozes from the wound. The individual fragments were measured at 3′, and girths of 5′ 2” and 12′ 3” were recorded.
