Notes:

July 2007 – Tim Hills: A tree with secondary growth around the original trunk. The impression was of hollowing with internal growth inside the hollow. Closer examination revealed a large jagged section of the original trunk among the straight and tall branches. The tree was measured at about 2′ – above the tombstone and 15′ 9” (480cm) recorded.
2018 – Paul Wood: At ground level on the north side it was possible to see a large void and a number of internal stems that are nearing the ground. A little twiggy growth covered the north side ground level hole but in general the tree had only small amounts of growth below a height of 10′. It looked healthy with plenty of deep green foliage in the canopy. Some dead branches were visible that appeared to be connected to dead sections seen in the lower part of the tree. Measured at 1′ (30cm), the tree’s smallest girth was 16′ 2” (493cm).
