24 April 1988: Recorded for the Conservation Foundation’s Yew Tree Survey by Susan Biddiss. Girths of 14′ (427cm) at 3′ and 14′ 8” (447cm) at 4′. A certificate with an estimated age of 450 years was sent to the church.
2012 Peter Norton: The female yew grows NW of the church. Thick ivy had been cut through at a height of about 5′. Incorporating the ivy a girth of 15′ 3” (465cm) was recorded both at 1′ and 3′. Above the cut, girth was 15′ 2” (462cm).
