Notes:

The yew was struck by lightning in about 1996 and has not recovered. Ivy was removed to aid its recovery, but to no avail. It was decided to fell the 45′ tree before it fell and caused damage in the churchyard. A curved memorial bench will be made from some of the wood and sited as near as possible to the stump.
