Notes:October 2015 Tim Hills: The yew had a girth of 14′ 9” (450cm) at 2′ and 15′ 1½” (461cm) at 3′ – the height of an embedded nail. It continues to gain girth to a height of about 9′. From here numerous thick branches grow from the bole edge around an impressive central riser.
