Notes:In 2012 only six yews of any size remained. A female yew in the school playground with a girth of 8′ 7” at 3′ has given rise to the name of the school newsletter – Yew Tree Press. The largest in a line of yews by the main road girthed 9′ 7”. Three others had girths between 6′ and 7′, while the 6th is now in the garden of one of the new homes in Yew Tree Close.
