November 2009 – Dave Kenny: It is completely hollow, the trunk splits into two live stems (both hollow and with healthy crowns). The hollow interior is black with signs of burning. Some elder and ivy encroaching. Rather scruffy surroundings, but otherwise seems fine. Girth 4.59m at 0.6m (15′ 1” at 2′). 29th
Oct 2013 – Peter Norton: The fragmented female, in two separated halves, grows just to the east of the south facing porch. Girth was 14′ 7” (444.5cm) at 1′ and 14′ 10” (452cm) at 2′.
2015 – Tim Hills: Girth of 4.48 (14′ 8”) at 30cm.
