Notes:There is nothing to suggest that the tree seen today is one of the parts of the yew described in 1867. It is nonetheless a fine looking tree with a fluted trunk. Branches have been removed at a height of about 2m. From a height of about 4m two main upright branches develop. A single cut in the bark suggests that ivy has been removed. Girths were recorded as follows: 3.81m at 30cm; 3.80m at 100cm; 3.90m at 130cm.
